ESSA Tier 3 - Promising Evidence
MindPlay Education earned ESSA Level 3 recognition through a rigorous quasi-experimental research design evaluating the efficacy of MindPlay Virtual Reading Coach (MVRC) to enhance regular daily language arts instruction delivered by classroom teachers. The study incorporated MindPlay’s assessments, which estimate students’ relative grade levels, alongside MAP Growth assessments, providing an overall reading ability score known as the Rasch unIT (RIT).
